What a weekend the Tour de France was!!!
The weekend took a lot of organising, and it was a very hectic weekend but with help from family and friends working very hard everything worked out really well. We had a fantastic weekend, we met so many people and a lot of the campers that came for the weekend have returned a few times to camp at Usha Gap.
The impact that the Tour made on us is still showing 6 years on, the money that we made from the weekend helped toward the making of our new toilet and shower block, having the new shower block had made a huge difference, we have notice a lot more campers returning to camp at Usha Gap.
We had so much amazing feedback from those that camped with us over the weekend and some of the photos are below, some photos from us and some are from those that camped with us. Thank you to those that sent feedback and amazing photos, we hope like us you enjoyed the weekend and it will be a weekend that you will never forget.
The highlight of the weekend for me was the group The Beefeaters, they stayed with us for the weekend with their families. The corner at Usha Gap Bridge is now called Beefeater corner. The fun and energy that they put into the weekend was amazing and just made it for me.
